Concrete was falling from the expansion joint between two buildings onto the pedestrian pavements. Additionally, the open joint was causing damp in the adjacent flats. We were asked to perform abseiling on the tenement to remove all loose concrete and repair the expansion joint. We applied Sikaflex seal, which expands with temperature and building movement, ensuring the building remains weatherproof and keeping pedestrians safe.
